1930's BALDA 'Baldina' 35mm Folding Camera. This small all-metal folding camera was produced in the mid 1930's and boasted some interesting features. The optical sports viewfinder had a rotary actuated parallax device, to compensate for different focusing ranges. Next to it, the exposure numbering disc was protected with a nicely-designed silver cap. On the rear was a 'Depth-of-Field' prompt, whilst on the lens panel was a novel circular focusing system. The camera comes in good, but well-used condition, with good leatherette on the body and excellent bellows. The 8-speed Compur shutter works throughout the range and the Gorlitz f2.9 Trioplan lens appears clear. An interesting little collectable.
