A large French female figure made of bronze-coloured patinated regula / zamak on a pedestal, with a metal plate 'Voix Celestes Par Rancoulet'. The figure is a woman in flowing robes leaning on a crescent moon and resting her feet comfortably on a wavy cloud. She is the voice of heaven while she stretches out her hand to the earth. Her face - about to speak - is peaceful with big eyes and a hopeful expression. Signed 'Rancoulet' on the front of the moon shape and marked with the stamp on the foundry on the back of the moon shape 'Fabrication Francaise Paris Made in France'. The sculpture is manufactured ca. 1900 by the French artist Ernest Rancoulet (1870-1915). This lot will be packaged with great care and shipped with tracking number.
