The image size of the painting is 80 cm x 70.5 cm The painting has been cleaned, restored and is now in quite good condition. Georg Arnold Grabone; Born on the 11.9.1896 in Munich, lived in Percha-Buchhof. Comes from Gerabronn (pseudonym for Graboné derived from there); Son of the president of government Wilhelm von Arnold. Studies in Stuttgart, Munich, Vienna, Berlin, Paris. in 1922 in Stuttgart he became a member of the group "Uecht" (abstract painting). Master student in Berlin under Max Liebermann and Leo König, in Munich under Heinrich von Zügel. In Vienna is a member of the group "Licht". In 1928 in Vienna he received the gold medal for the painting of Hardanger Fjord. In 1930 he starts working at the Academy in Zurich, here he became in 1932 Professor, later headmaster. Travels across Europe, the Middle East and the United States. In 1951 A. gives a lesson to General Eisenhower in his famous filler technology, shortly thereafter, Winston Churchill becomes his disciple. In 1982 he died in Percha-Buchhof.
