The Imperial 50 is a very beautiful typewriter from 1935, this according to the serial number. This Imperial series was made in such a way that the machine could be disassembled into 3 parts in just a couple of steps without tools: the roll, the carriage and the keyboard. Which is very convenient for maintenance and cleaning/greasing. The machine functions and has been properly greased. The lacquer, prints and keys are still in a fine condition. The glass sides are nice as are the ribbon coils. No rust, the machine still looks like new after nearly 85 years. See pictures. The machine weighs 17 kg.
