Tonala is a region in Mexico where the clay is found which is used for making these figurines. The clay is of such good quality that the end result looks like porcelain. Tonala is an internationally renowned region for the origin of Mexican ceramics. This ceramic is typified by the smiling cat. The cat is seen as a link to the spirit world. The height of the figurines varies between 14 and 24 cm. Carefully packaged and shipped with track and trace.
