Adrianus Johannes (Arie) Zwart (Rijswijk, 30 August 1903 – Laren, 27 August 1981) was a Dutch painter, who painted in the style of the Hague School.

He painted many landscapes and still lifes. Adriaan Zwart was very versatile. Although his first work had a somewhat darker tone, his later work was mostly light and bright in colour. He was a prolific painter.

He lived in a caravan. He had 3 children. Later Zwart resided in a houseboat called De Trekschuit, which he took to various locations in order to paint various places. He travelled extensively to a.o. Spain and France, to paint. He lived with his family in Meppel during the war. Later he lived in Alkmaar, Voorburg and Woerden.

He then moved with his wife to the Rosa Spier House in 1974. He died there in 1981.
