Big Agoudal meteorite, Iron from Morocco - 108.2 g
Excellent Agoudal meteorite. Known also by the provisional name of Imilchil this meteorite was classified as a IIAB iron. It was first described in 2011 and is considered to be the one of the newest Moroccan iron meteorites. It's now believed that 2 lakes found in the area are actually craters of the meteorite. Supposedly the falling rock divided into 2 large fragments before they exploded forming the craters and thousands of little and intricate meteorites.
This desert iron has an attractive shape and a conserves its nice natural patina.
Weight is: 108,2 grams.
Dimensions: 4,8 x 3,9 x 1,9 cm.
A certificate of authenticity is included.
