Seiko - Superior - 9983-8000 - Men - 1970-1979
This spotless Superior was made in 1978. It features a twin quartz movement that runs with a deviation of 5 seconds per year, though this of course now is a vintage indication.
This 9983 dial has separately placed minute indicators and black-painted hands. The finish is truly special and not really restorable. Fortunately, the watch is as good as new!
These models were the most expensive watches from the Superior line, 235,000 JPY for the 9983 means $4,700 nowadays...
