Leonor Fini (1907–1996) was an Argentinian surrealist painter, designer, illustrator, and author.
Some of her most important work was done for the theater and included both sets and costumes.
This Gouache is a "Etude de costumes" for the characters of the play "Lucrèce Borgia" (a Victor Hugo play) which it was presented in 1964 in the parisian "Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier". (See photo from the poster)
