MG - MGB Roadster - 1963

Hereby, I am offering this excellent, original MGB Roadster from 1963. The vehicle is a real collector’s car in Old English White with a red interior. It was built in 1963 for the Swedish market and remained in the possession of the previous owner for 37 years. It was imported to Belgium last summer and has a different registration number since 1963. All vehicle inspection certificates are included since 1970 (!), along with the Heritage certificate that confirms the originality of this matching numbers MGB. The MGB is an original car, which has always been maintained with the utmost care. It was used during holidays, meetings and leisure trips. Has always been parked in a garage. Has been well-maintained and treated with love. Exterior: The car has been repainted once, but has always remained completely original. The paintwork is entirely stainless and has no scratches. There are no optical flaws. All chrome, brackets, handles and emblems are in a nice condition. The original wire wheels are present and in a beautiful condition, along with the hammer and the spare wheel. The vehicle includes a soft top and cover, visible on the photos. Interior: The red with white stitching is in a beautiful condition and shows no flaws, except for a single sign of use, caused by getting in and out of the car, along the driver’s side. Original seats, carpets and dashboard. The floor plates also don’t have any rust, not even superficial. The dashboard is in an extremely good condition, with all functioning knobs (buttons), lights, and even the reading light. Technically: The car is equipped with the matching-numbers-engine, with original 4-speed gearbox and dual Weber carburettors. These were entirely overhauled by the previous owner in 2013. An entirely new exhaust system was installed in 2016. Prior to the sale, all brakes were also entirely renewed in 2017. Since then, the car has had a major service this summer, including various oils and coolant. In addition, a new, period-correct, air filter and water pump were installed. A new preventative fuel filter was installed. Additionally, the shock absorbers were restored to ensure the originality. During cold weather, the vehicle starts without any problems, drives like a dream and shifts equally well. The car’s electric is in a good condition and all lights, from the parking lights to the license plate illumination, function. All gauges (clocks) are properly functioning. All counters work. In short, a magnificent original car for a real enthusiast. The car can be viewed and picked up in Roeselare, Belgium.
