Ceramic tile signed - Paula Rego (b. 1935). Paula Rego is the well known Portuguese painter still in activity with works in the most respected museums and private collections. Lives and works in London. Its production has been shown since 1988 (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation) retrospectively, exhibitions at the Serralves Foundation (2004), Tate Britain (2005) and the National Museum of Art Reina Sofia. In 2009 she opened to the public, in Cascais, the House of Stories Paula Rego, dedicated to the work of the artist and her husband, Victor Willing. She was represented in London from the Marlborough gallery in 2015 and was the subject of a retrospective at the Serpentine Gallery, also in London.
