The work can be viewed at art dealer Martins year 2018 (Tweede Exloërmond). Incl. certificate of authenticity. Info: Philip Lodewijk Jacob Frederik Sadée (The Hague, 7 February 1837 - The Hague, 14 December 1904) was an artist of The Hague School. Initially Sadée painted Biblical scenes and history pieces. Later he focused on everyday life. In Scheveningen he came into contact with the fisherman's life. This fascinated him and the beach and dunes became a source of inspiration, but he also painted cityscapes. Characteristic of Sadée are bright colours. Note: The horizontal "lines" are caused by wood warping of oak panel.
