His recent works highlighted his strong preference for wall surfaces. He is a member of the Centro Studi di Storia delle Tradizioni Popolari di Basilicata, Puglia e Calabria. Aldo Carlomagno won the tenth edition of the Sirino d'Argento award. A fine landscaper and refined miniaturist, the painter from Trecchina is an artist with a lively expressiveness. His paintings offer poignant glimpses of villages and still lives, all drenched in a rare chromatic lyricism.
