ACMA Piaggio - Vespa 400 - 1959 - NO RESERVE

ACMA VESPA 400 from 1959 at auction with NO RESERVE PRICE. Car with original French documents and number plates, with valid inspection until 11th November 2020 (performed on 11th November 2018). Car was always stored in a garage in Corsica (Ajaccio) for use during the summer season. Car with low mileage since new and with km written on the certificate. Engine is original and it has the same number as the frame, therefore ‘matching numbers’ (as shown in photos). In the last month, many interventions were made: new carpets on the bottom, new complete headlining, new tyres with inner tubes and completely new brakes. New battery, new electrical service. In recent years it also received a new roof and new interior, and bottom fully restored with new metal (see photos on the lift). There are photos of the ‘feeler gauge’ showing that the bodywork was never damaged and has no putty between paint and metal (as shown in photos) Soft top is in very good condition and water-proof. Driving experience is very pleasant, the car is agile and responsive with a speed over 95 km/h thanks to its light weight, fuel consumption is low. This car can be used as a daily car around the city as well, it is very comfortable. Car has 4 seats, 2+2. For Italian buyers: we can show you our trusted agency for the registration, but it would lose the original number plate. Documents are in order for an easy registration in any European country. Car is available for any test or viewing, please ask Catawiki for our contact details. This is a used car, but it should be considered a very good ‘driver’. Shipping throughout Europe and worldwide at affordable prices. We take care of change of ownership or export documents in order to register the car in the country of destination. Follow our weekly NO RESERVE auctions.
