The car presented is the one on display at the 1969 Turin Motor Show at the Rolls Royce / Bentley stand, and it is one of only nineteen (!) left-hand drive cars made, of which very few were sold in Europe. The reason is easy to understand: it cost 50% more than the already expensive RR Silver Shadow / Bentley T and with that amount you could easily buy an apartment in Cortina or Portofino. The car was produced on request of the Sport Auto of Rome for the Countess Di Bernardo in Palma and it has been my property for about 20 years. Thanks to the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts' Club I have copies of the invoice, specifications, details and tests over the six months necessary for its production. The owner’s manual and the warranty card are also intact! The original options are all present: the magnificent Astral Blue colour with black vinyl roof, the blued glass, the instrument in km, the two-zone air conditioning, even the Blaupunkt Koln radio. You can check that details such as toolbox, spare bulbs, jack, wiper blades, warranty certificate, stickers and text also in the engine compartment testify that in half a century the car was never affected by poorly made interventions or replacements with non-original parts.
This car was used with great care by me even for long journeys until about 5 years ago. Since then it has been stored in my garage and started every 3-4 months. It deserves care and attention from a passionate enthusiast:

- Brakes: in working condition, there are no leaks, but the lights light up (I have new pads, but I think a deeper work is needed)
- Internal wool carpeting to be renewed, soft and not cracked leathers, for cleaning
- Cracks in the paint as shown in photos
- Crack in a plastic part in left rear headlight, I have the new original Lucas spare part.

With a little passion you can easily bring back to its splendour a prestigious car, absolutely original, very rare (the Corniche Register estimates that 11 of the 19 cars produced have survived) or rather unique, being the model protagonist, as mentioned, of Turin 1969, at the price of an average car of great series.

This Bentley will soon turn 50 and it was never restored; it is therefore advisable to view it in order to avoid any disappointment. In addition, the inspection required by law expired and the car must necessarily be picked up with a trailer/tow truck.

Unfortunately the description of the Waterman pen set was not completely true. The case was from Waterman but the pen and pencil were not. Not what one would expect from the way the lot was described.

I was in touch with the buyer giving the chance to have the money back, if really the description and pics were not as described. So I hope he could cancel the negative feedback.
