Aldo Pagliacci ( 1913 - 1991 ) - Natura morta

Work comes with certificate of authenticity by art gallery ‘Il Sagittario’, Cosenza. On the sheet there are blind stamps by the Gallery and by the Stamperia d’Arte of Urbino. The work on sale has a different numbering from the one shown in photos. Aldo Pagliacci at the age of 20, after having exhibited at the Venice Biennale and at the Rome Quadriennale, began a long world tour. First in Africa, then throughout Latin America. His works are exhibited in the main museums in Central and South America. His art is particularly appreciated in the artistic circles of the United States, so much so that he deserved the publication of one of his works in the prestigious magazine ‘Life’. Aldo Pagliacci’s painting can be compared to surrealism, but it cannot be catalogued in a precise artistic context. He would end his adventurous life in his beloved Forio d’Ischia.
