No. of items: 1
Series: Xconti

Year oldest item: 2018

Artist: Xconti (Davide Perconti)

Made on pastel-painted cardboard. Dimensions: 25 x 35 cm

Born in 1968, Davide Perconti started drawing and oil painting at a very young age. He graduated from the Liceo Artistico Statale of Venice in 1986; he took part in various painting competitions and exhibitions, also obtaining some recognition. In 1991 he began to collaborate with the Messaggero dei Ragazzi, a collaboration that lasted until 2015. In 1997 he made his debut at Sergio Bonelli Editore, in an episode published in the first issue of Agenzia Alfa; at the same time he also presented many proofs as a complete draughtsman and was thus able to join the staff of Legs Weaver, for which he produced seven episodes. In 1998 he also began to draw an episode of Gregory Hunter, written by Antonio Serra, but unfortunately the 26 plates made will remain unpublished due to the early shutdown of the series. Again for the same publisher, he also made four episodes for Agenzia Alfa and the ink drawings for the first issue of ‘Sezione Eurasia’ for Universo Alfa. In 2016 his first episode was published in the volume ‘maxi NATHAN NEVER’ for the character of this magazine, again for Sergio Bonelli Editore. In 2018 he created a portfolio entitled Eros & Glamour, paying tribute to six great authors of Italian comics, which collects as many illustrations of six famous heroines of erotic comics.
