Offered: a beautiful original Comtoise clock. Power reserve is about 31 days (monthly movement). The clock also has a repetitive striking mechanism. Verge escapement with striking mechanism. The movement runs and strikes as it should, first the amount of hours every full hour and another time 3 minutes later. Beautiful original weights weighing about 8 kg each.
The feuille (brass edge) around the dial is made in one piece and shows a carpenter making a door, a watching child and a mother cleaning fish. A house and palm trees in the background.
The dial is original and decorated with flower patterns, signed with the name Delauney, á Aulnayet, Maltha; it has no defects. Photos are part of the description.
Height of the dial is 47 cm, width 28 cm, depth 19 cm. The comtoise comes with a mounting bracket and a comtoise winding key.
Pick-up in Bleiswijk, the Netherlands, is preferred, given the weight of the clock and heavy weights. If the clock needs to be sent, the clock will be sent in two packages, one for the weights and one for the clock, pendulum and other accessories. Everything wil be sent very well-packaged and by registered post.
