Claude Marin is an cartoonist born March 30, 1931 in Châtenay-Malabry and died August 31, 2001 in France. At age 14, he began his career, taken under the wing by Marijac. His first job was illustrating the Rouletabosse Reporter series written by its creator Marijac. Equally at ease with realistic and comedic styles, he produced many illustrations for the Flemish magazine “Kleine Zondagsvriend” in the 1950s. In the mid-1960s, he abandoned comics to work in advertising for children's clothing. This hiatus would last 10 years. In 1976 he met Greg, which led him to return to comics, creating “Frère Boudin” for Achille Talon magazine. In 1979, encouraged by Michel Mandry, he realised his childhood dream and joined Disney in drawing for the “Journal de Mickey”, illustrating Mickey's adventures with text by Corteggiani and Goofy’s adventures with text by Michel Motti. In 1986, he created “Les Bébés Disney” (Disney Babies)
