Thank you for your interest in our Monark Racer. Originally a Swedish brand, this Monark comes with a racing block based on a Sachs engine. One of the rarest 50cc racing motorcycles out there. This truly beautiful and original racing bike is entirely in original condition! A complete, extensive and original racing set. Water-cooled machine. Imported in 1973 by importer D. de Vos. Fitted with all original racing parts: - Vented racing hubs - Aluminium rims - Exhaust exhaust - Lightweight body - Original set-up cylinder, carburettor, radiator The engine block still runs exactly as it ever did: BREATHTAKINGLY great! A very well running machine with a beautiful sound, which is partly produced by the expansion racing exhaust. During the early 1970s, Monark was highly regarded in the racing world and it had this engine block designed in 1973 producing over 15,000 rpm with 18HP and rotary inlet. Electronic ignition (Thyron) with electric water pump. If you’re looking for something unique, this is the perfect thing! All proof concerning the races have been neatly preserved on the fairing.
