Large beautiful Art Nouveau driven tin ornamental vase "Japonism" circa 1900.
Decorated with a female figure. Remains of silver-plating.
Made with Japanese style influences.
Maker or origin is hard to assess, objects in this style were made by Tiffany, Gorham, Wolfers and Christofle.
The belly has hammered decorations. Overlaid flower and branch motifs and partly also engraved in the belly.
Otherwise no mark or signature. Removable brass inner vase.
The vase is 50 cm high and approximately 28 cm wide (handle to handle).
The top edge has a diameter of 14.5 cm. The bottom has a diameter of 17 cm.
Weight is 4.3 kilograms.
The vase is in a good but used condition. Normal dents / scratches from use. The silver-plating has partly worn off.
