Beautiful desk by Gispen designed by A.R. Cordemeyer. The item of furniture is in good condition and even the keys will be included. There is a paint splatter on the desktop and it shows some weathering. Sheet steel desk, varnished in light grey, with three varnished drawers on the left side and two on the right side. The desk has a dark grey linoleum top, encased in a dark grey plastic edge on the sides. The desk is part of the 7800 series or "Kleurodesk", in which distinct colours were used in steel plate furniture for the first time in the company's history. The round, anodised aluminium handles were replaced by flat handles with a T-shaped diameter in 1962.
