Nice barn find, this red convertible. Is only seen sporadically in the wild on the Dutch roads. This is a Pininfarina designed Samba convertible by Talbot. This is the 1.4 litre version, which delivers approx. 80 HP. A convertible from the compact class, but one that can deliver excellent performance. It has a new convertible top and the car is in a good condition. Paint and interior are in reasonable condition and can be further improved, as desired. Light-alloy wheels and power windows are nice extras. Going on the road with four people is not a problem for this 4-seater. 13,000 copies were made, hence not many were made. This model was the last model of Talbot. The quirky Talbot Samba is becoming a collector’s item. Simple technique and practical to use. It still has an attractive price and is a nice investment object, which you can also just drive. The car can be viewed and picked up in Waalwijk, the Netherlands.
