Femke Haitsma Mulier

Beautiful and rare gold sewing set consisting of scissors with a sheath, needle case, piercer and needle.

Marked with the antique oak leaf = period 1813-1906 This is 14 karat gold.
Also a maker's mark but I could not decipher it.
Given the dot engraving with which this set is decorated, the set dates from about 1860.

Total gross weight 16.53 grams.
Estimated net weight approx 12 grams (sheath already weighs 5.4 grams, for example).
Length needle case is 7.2 grams.
