Le Dauphin is one of France's best known manufacturer of decorative lighting of which this is a classic example from the late 20th century. The table lamp features the head of a young Greek male God, possibly Apollo, standing on a travertine base. Neoclassical style. The model is part of a high-end range with gold coloured accents applied by hand. It has a new, light brown shade. The base is marked with "Le Dauphin" label.
In good working order. Wired for use in Europe: screw bulb fitting and standard wiring for 220V with two pin plug and on/off light switch. In good, vintage condition consistent with age and use. Tiny chip in plaster on bottom edge of the bust. Photographs form part of the description.
