On auction: this lovely pendant depicting the two lovers by Peynet. As can be read on the back. Raymond Peynet was a Parisian who lived in the 20th century. He is a very beloved and famous cartoonist in France. There are even two museums fully dedicated to him. The front of the love pendant shows his most famous characters. Two loved ones, the boy is showing the girl a bird. The drawing is in very good and beautiful condition. The back of the pendant has two inscriptions: 'les amoureux de Peynet' which indicates the image on the front. It is also marked 'Graves par contaux'. The bail of the pendant features an eagle hallmark. The ring is marked 750. This indicates that the pendant is fully made of 18 kt gold.
