Beautiful, original page from 2007 by Daan Jippes from the story “Golden apples”.

This is page 8 from this 14-page story, based on a story by Carl Barks.

The page consists of two parts, 8A and 8B, that are attached to each other with tape.
The combined page has the large size of approx. 41 x 56.5 cm.

The page is signed at the bottom in pencil by Daan Jippes.

Underneath the ink, the blue pencil lines that served as basis for the inking are still visible.

This story was first published in 2007. The first Dutch publication came in 2008 in Donald Duck 20 with the title "De race om de gouden appels".

Daan Jippes worked for Disney in the USA for many years and was one of Carl Barks’ close colleagues.
