Royal 10 (1926)
The Royal Typewriter Company was founded in New York in 1904 by E.B. Hess. In 1906 he introduced the first Royal typewriter.
The Royal 10 was introduced in 1914. This became one of the best known classical machines, next to the Remington 10 and the Underwood 5. The Royal 10 was famous for its solid construction. The Royal 10 typewriter was produced until 1938.
The sides of the Royal 10 are made of glass. A manual of the machine can be found at site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/Royal10.pdf.
