After Emile Guillemin (French, 1841-1907) sculptures "Fee des Eaux" and "Fee de bois". Made of patinated metal alloy (zamak or spelter), sculptures depicting dancing female figures, one with harp another one with an instrument looking like a triple flute, painted decoration, on carved wood bases with badges that read "Fee des Eaux" (The Water Fairy) and "Fee de Bois" (The Forest Fairy), signed in cast "E Guillemin". Some scratches and discolouration in places, signs of repair on arms/hands of both figures, otherwise in good condition. Height 37cm. Émile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin was a French sculptor of the Belle Époque. He worked in bronze, studied under his father, the painter Auguste Guillemin, and under Jean-Jules Salmson. He showed his works at the Salon of Paris from 1870 to 1899
