Thomas Frisano started out contributing to the covers of ‘Strange’ magazine produced by his father, Jean Frisano, published by Editions Lug. He then gradually began to create covers for other comic book titles published by Editions Lug: ‘Titans’, ‘Spécial Strange’, ‘Nova’, ‘Albums de l'Araignée’, ‘Fantastic Four’.
The Frisano covers are linked to the emergence of the superheroes of Marvel Comics in France. Articles about these covers have been published in Comic Book Artist N°17 (January 2002) and Comic Book Marketplace N°54 (December 1997) as well as in the Photo-Journal Guide to Marvel Comics to Ernst Gerber. In the ‘Encyclopédie des Comics Marvel’ in France (volume 1), they are the main source of the French material reproduced.
He also drew the 12 ‘Travaux d'Art Cool’ albums with Jean-Pierre Dionnet, published by Albin Michel, and two volumes of ‘Relations Publiques’, published by Glénat, in collaboration with Raymond Maric. His first story appeared in 1984 in ‘Métal Aventure’, a magazine of ‘Les Humanoïdes Associés’.
