movement Calibre 580 stamped MARVIN 25 Jewels 3ADJS Swiss Made running consistently and keeping very accurate time.
These watches were issued to KLM pilots and flight crew in the 1950's. Marvin also made watches for Ferrari & Jaguar enjoying a reputation for quality timepieces. Sterling Moss & other racing drivers also wore Marvins.
The watch was named "Flying Dutchman" after the airliners that flew long distances for KLM.
