This type of Zaanse clock was specially intended for tourists and made in limited edition in the 1970s.
The clock consists of a thick wooden frame with a chair for the clock. The clock has brass railings and the atlas with bell on top of it. The dial is a Delft blue tile with a numeral on it.
Below the clock is again a trellis. On the sides a glass of clear glass.
The timepiece was made in 1973 by UCW (United Clock Works), type 261-080A. In the lower-right corner on the platine the pendulum length (31 cm) and the number 125.780. The clock runs and strikes on the weight of two brass pear-shaped weights and functions well.
The brown coloured glass in the tail, with behind it the rider going back-and-forth, is broken.
The clock can be picked up in Almere. Shipping is also possible. Will be packaged with great care and shipped by registered and insured mail.
