Two Tecta armchairs and one Tecta footstool. The model is a design by Anton Lorenz. The chairs and the footstool are a second edition, released by Tecta when they got the license for reintroducing large furniture design classics, including BAUHAUS. Designs by i.a.: Gerrit Rietveld, El Lissitzky, Walter Gropius, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer. The originals licensed Bauhaus models, produced by TECZA, were approved by the Bauhaus-Archiv in Berlin, so they feature the Bauhaus logo. Materials: chromed steel/flattened tubes, stepless adjustment The seat is hand-braided reed in a honey colour, by Tecta. The cushions are Elmosoft 53034 cognac leather and they are custom-made. Purchase receipt available. Purchased in 2004 at Jan van Beek - Amsterdam (€4,551.00). Everything in excellent condition. There is only some minor damage to the tubular frame on the bottom of the D35-1 footstool. Armchair D35-1 measurements: Width: 0.64 Depth: 0.88–1.16 (due to the adjustment of the backrest) Height: 0.97–0.82 (idem) Seat height: 0.36 Footstool D 35-1: Height: 0.42 Width: 0.55 Depth: 0.62
