This drive (CD drive transport) Arcam Delta 170 has been built around the nearly indestructible Philips CDM1-MK2 drive. Textbook Philips - with an SAA7210 demodulator and SAA7210p/b digital filter forms the s/pdif output signal. Arcam has installed optoisolators and the output board has been improved over the Philips design in many ways. Equipped with cinch and Toslink digital outputs for direct connection to DAC (Digital Analogue Converter). The player is in good condition, technically in good and working condition as well (extensively tested) and complete with original Arcam-remote control and matching power cord.
