Wonderful ceramic crackled Art Deco sculpture signed ‘LEJAN’.
Ca. 1920, France.
‘Faience craquelé’, typically Art Deco period.
Great depiction of a fish titled “Turquoise Fisch’.
Glazed ceramic, nice turquoise coloured piece with a crackled layer of glaze.
Signed ‘LEJAN’ on the pelvic fin of the fish (its foot).
It is 30 cm in height.
A 40 cm width and a 12 cm depth.
It weighs approx. 1,600 grams.
In superb condition, minor glaze chip on the bottom of the caudal fin.
Not disturbing, see photos.
Will be thoroughly packaged and shipped with registration and insurance.
