The Yashica-Mat:
The first Yashica TLR with rotary knob transport was the Yashica-Mat that was released in 1957. The earliest models are equipped with a 75 mm 3.5 Lumaxar lens and a 75 mm 3.2 Lumaxar viewing lens, with 80 mm lens specifications. According to some authorities (especially Mark Hama, who had previously worked in a Yashica factory), the Lumaxar was manufactured for Yashica in West Germany; according to others it was made in Japan made by Tomioka. The lens, a four-element design, of the Tessar type, was called Yashinon later on. The shutter speeds of the Yashica-Mat are marked according to the older system (1/25, 1/50 etc.) and range from B to 1/500 second.

Beautiful collector’s item. Very sharp lens, for superb recordings in medium format 6 x 6. The shutter works at all speeds and the aperture as well. With bag, original lens hood and lens cap.
