Made in Florence, Italy.By pressing the button on bottom, the music box starts to play and the 6 small doors open, revealing the cigarettes; after a few seconds, when the music box plays a different melody, the doors close. The first melody is Lara's Theme and the second one is "Love Story" (Swiss musical movement). The base and the structure are made of metal, with feet and finishes in silver; doors and dome are decorated with hand painted floral motifs on a dark brown coloured background. Automatic mechanism. The doors are red velvet lined inside. Simple yet elegant decor and useful item. A collector's item too. In good condition with some signs of ageing.
