This table lamp was designed by Louis Kalff in 1956 and produced by Philips, in the same time as the Evoluon was built in Eindhoven. This is the rare version with a convex shade! Desk lamp by Louis Kalff, Philips, with matte black aluminium shade. The lampshade has a perforated edge frame and a white inside with a Philips sticker The lamp has base made of copper, brass that is weighted at the bottom with 2 black metal cylinders. The lamp is 40 cm high. The lampshade has a diameter of 32 cm. The base measures 20 cm x 17 cm. As you can see in the photos, this lamp is in exceptionally good condition and in perfect working order, no dents or scratches! This lamp was designed at the time for a so-called 'reflecting light', which was introduced at that time. Comes without a light source.
