In 1885 Dürkopp started the first production series of bicycles in Germany. In 1930 the Dürkopp-Radrennstall (cycling team) joined for the first time the industrial ring race for professional cyclists (Ibus). Dürkopp’s list of bikes increased, with standard vehicles that participated in the first tour of Germany in several stages, such as the Dürkopp "Diana 215". Dürkopp team included: Unger, Arndt, Nitzschke, Renold, Günther, Hertwig, Geyer, Bulla, Gottwald, Sieronski, Klass, Buse, Korge, M.Kohl and Dobbrack as team manager. Team Dürkopp motto was: “Where Dürkopp is, victory is certain”. This 1905 specimen mounts wooden rims, front spoon brake, rear coaster brake. It still has its leather tool kit and wooden knobs.
