Luca Mencaroni

Maurizio Di Vincenzo - Original exhibited at Collezionando 2019

Graduated in Rome from the Academy of Fine Arts (painting section) in 1980. He works as a painter and illustrator. He made his first publishing experiences in 1978, when he illustrated three fairy tales for Giunti. He made his comic book debut in 1985, with illustrations published by ‘L'Eternauta’, stories for ‘Boy Comics’ and collaborations with Eura and Universo magazines. He also worked for ‘Comic Art’ and ‘Granata Press’. Then he designed ‘Esp’, then the debut in the Dylan Dog team with ‘Hook l'implacabile’, released in 1998. After having created some adventures of Magico Vento and a Demian album, he draws the debut issue of Cassidy.

This is one of the original illustrations made in November 2018 within the International Festival Lucca Comics&Games Area Performance. By participating in this auction, not only can you win a work signed by a great author, but collaborate on the charity project that for 20 years has been bringing together the greatest international artists in Lucca for charity purposes. Over the years, we have donated more than 150,000 euros to humanitarian and medical associations.
