Volkswagen - Scirocco GT2 - 1991

Being offered for sale is an original, unmodified and un-welded VW Scirocco GT 2 in a silver grey metallic, colour code LD7V, engine code JH, 1.8 litre petrol engine with a mileage of 212,000 km, first registered in January 1991. Retrofitted with a D3 exhaust gas cleaning system, hence a lower tax. TÜV and emissions test valid until 11/2020, immediately roadworthy. Technically-speaking, absolutely SUPERB, just invested close to €3,500 in maintenance and its TÜV. The cambelt has been changed, it has had a full service, the brakes are new, it has new all-weather tyres on 15 inch BBS rims (with ABE). The water pump is new, oil and filters are new, the hand brake cables and wheel brake cylinders are new, new battery, new springs; I’m happy to provide you with a copy of the invoice. The car has no rust, but there are some minor visual defects and also a few small scratches. Visually condition: very good. Also included in the auction is a large batch of parts which I removed from a car identical in construction, and then stored, because it’s becoming more and more difficult to get spare parts, and now, you can only get lots of parts through VW Classic. I have photographed the parts; there are 7 boxes of small parts, 2 sets of original tyres / wheel rims (14 inch), washers, and parts for the interior and body. The car is stored in a dry place and free from any affects of the weather in an underground garage. It can be viewed and collected from 40229 Bacharach, Germany. Düsseldorf isn’t far from the Dutch and Belgian border. The Scirocco can be delivered subject to fuel costs.
