Lancia - Thema Limousine 6V 2,8 - 1987

Lancia Thema Limousine 6V 2.8, registered on 10/5/1988, with 11000 km. Only 27 units ever produced. Produced in May 1987. Original number plate TURIN. Inspection December 2019. Lancia Blue colour, interior in blue FRAU leather, front and rear electric seats, 4 seats, Automatic Aircon, ABS, headlight cleaning system, specific alloy rims for Thema Limousine. Self-levelling rear suspension perfectly working. Radio never installed. 6-cylinder PRV 2.8 V engine, 150 HP. Always stored in closed garage, never under the sun, always hand-washed. Virtually mint vehicle except the windshield which shows a light delamination on the left corner, to the driver’s side. Don’t worry though, I’m including an original Lancia windshield with year of manufacture 1987 still packed - perfect for this frame. ASI registered with CRS. Registered in Lancia Historical Register. Extremely rare car, only 27 units ever built between 1987 and 1993. Their frames had a progressive number from 102001 to 102032 but the last one, the Thelma Presidential Limousine, had a different frame number. Among these frames, the numbers 7, 17, 18, 24, 25 and 26 are not listed in any official archive. 17 of these 27 cars are still circulating. Frame built in May 1987 - thus a first series - as certified by FCA, and was registered a year later on May 10th 1988 with FIAT Auto S.p.A. as first owner. It belonged to Lancia press office for some years, it drove very few kilometres. Used with trial plate for a year, it remained under Fiat Auto property until 1996. It seems that this frame was used to transport Madonna during her first Italian concert. In September 1987 Madonna arrived in Turin for her tour Like a Virgin, the legendary tour that launched her. In 1996 it was sold to a lady who kept the car for a little over four years. In 2000 it was purchased by a dealer in Turin and after 6 months sold to a company in the province of Lodi. Virtually never used despite having an LPG system installed in 2002, but then removed in 2015 without being never used. Standing still for 13 years in a garage of the company building. Purchased in 2015 from a dealer. Would you like to find more iconic Italian lots? Use the #ItalianIcons hashtag in the search bar!
