The Japanese Emperor Hirohito ordered three! His model from 1935, a first series of chassis with “pullman-limousine”-body, was characterised by the lack of external exhaust pipes on the right side of the hood: one of the few examples in the production of the 770K.
The original stands in the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart.
Beautiful model that perfectly represents the Scale 1:1 version. Armoured body with gold imperial emblems. Left steering, with controlled spoked wheels and under the hood (that can open) a big engine block. With 2 spare wheels the car seems quite hefty. The doors can open and show a nice interior.
Was a limited production with PMA certificate.
