Beautiful old Dutch oil lamp that you traditionally often encountered on ships. Also known under the name spout lamp, because of the design of the double spout whereby oil droplets gather in the body of the lamp. These lamps were originally intended for use with whale oil, animal fats or olive oil. Nowadays one uses lamp oil. This oil lamp is in a very good condition with an original patina. The detachable combustion (fuel) chamber is in an excellent condition, so the lamp is working perfectly. Height: 35 cm.
