MG -A  1957.
This beautiful MG-A was delivered in Germany in 1957 to a German soldier.
It came across to the Netherlands in 1966, since then always cherished by an MG A club member.

The MG still has an original Dutch registration from 1966!

The BMC participated in Le Mans in 1955 with the concept car EX 182, they were modern lines at the time. After the TC, TD, TF they introduced the MG-A.

The MGA became successful from the very start, 80% went to the US, this European one is therefore quite unusual.

Completely restored in the 1990s, still in very good condition with some signs of wear in places.

This MG was purchased from the 3rd owner.

Overall a nice car with a soft top and a tonneau cover, it has a beautiful Motolita steering wheel. 
Beautiful 72-spoke chrome wheels and a leather interior.

Engine and gearbox:
The engine starts and runs fine and has nice chrome valve cover and heater unit.
The 4-speed transmission shifts fine.
The radiator is made of aluminium with an enlarged cooling block for better cooling.

Exterior:
The beautiful red paint is in good condition with minor imperfections in places.
Varnished with a clear coat for a beautiful deep lustre.
The chrome is in overall nice and shiny condition with rust of spots.
Beautiful authentic Lucas spot lights with yellow glass.
Almost new chrome wire wheels and spinners.
It has a nice chrome luggage rack.

Interior:
The interior is also in good condition with black leather seats and a nice upholstered dashboard.
The speedometer in km is quite special.
Additionally:
Aluminium secondary windows in plexiglass.
Tonneau cover.
Toolbox and wheel hammer.
