Beautiful and very decorative antique mercator globe in wooden chair with a beautiful and colourful antique map image. Warm walnut finish. On the rings around the globe are the constellations, the months and the landscape zones with the degrees in Italian. On the globe itself are also plenty of mythical creatures, including a fire-breathing dragon. Manufactured in Italy (is indicated on the bottom of the wooden chair, see picture 5). This globe has a diameter of around 20 cm, and with the ring a diameter of around 35 cm. The height is approximately 35 cm. Total weight: 1.7 kg.
