World Class Boulangerite specimen (sulfosalt, plumosite), with rodochrosite and blue calcite, 20cm in length, Museum display, very rare mineral. This specimen is nbelievably rich in fibrous crystals, and arguably the biggest boulangerite piece ever found in famous Trepca mine in Kosovo, Serbia.
This is without a doubt one of the most delicate mineral specimens in the world. The hairs are so fine that they have an iridescent sheen to them.
What makes this specimen one of the best in the world is the ammount of the Boulangerite hairs, their length, and the overall size of it, and also the interesting combination of minerals on the back side, which is completely covered in blue calcite crystals and rodochrosite.
