Mose' Bianchi (1840-1904) - Le curiose

Size: 25.5 x 32.5 cm Without frame Oil on canvas depicting "Le donne curiose", signed on bottom right with the initials M.B. The painting was made around the 1970s and 1980s when Mose’ Bianchi had an enormous closeness with his nephew Pompeo Mariani. We note in this work the “degrade’" construction of the figures, typical of the painter's production in this period. Another element is the alternation between material tapping and diluted application of colour in order to obtain a vibrant palette. The fir wood stretcher and the type of nailing are further confirmation that the work belongs to the indicated period. In good condition, patina, first canvas and coeval stretcher. Wood’s lamp did not show any restoration or tampering with the pigment and even when tested with solvents, it appears authentic in all its parts with coeval signature. We enclose photos under Wood’s lamp. After these technical and stylistic tests we can guarantee the authenticity of the work and we will include a certificate of authenticity by our gallery with photos, as required by law. Insured and tracked shipping.
