Suzuki - RG 250 Gamma - 250 cc - 1985

This Suzuki RG 250 W is completely original. There should be no under-fairing; that comes a model later. Original Dutch registration: MG-60-LY Date of first admission 26-04-1985. The motorcycle drives, brakes and shifts well. After the traditional air-cooled two-stroke T 20, T 250, GT 250 and X 7 Suzuki went after the Yamaha (RD LC models). Super Modern Anno 1984/85. The membrane-cater steered parallel-twin block is mild of tuning compared to later Rgs and RGVs. A lot of tuning possibilities... However, even with this original gate timing and exhausts it still drives 160 km. Noteworthy: This is the first series engine with the now so well-known aluminium frame. The old dream, a racer-with-badge, this RG. 131 pounds it weighs, so you’ll flash right through a chicane... With this RG you can join the Spa-Francorchamps (including Bikers' Classics) and you may even ride hard enough on such a large circuit to find it fun too. You can check out how that is on a short track, with a 'shorter' gearing. You can also just drive along the street... There is a report in Motor Revue.
