A large 13.5 inches long circa 1961 tin Power Shovel by SSS Toys Japan.
Nearly all constructed of tin with solid rubber tyres and chrome parts.
I have not cleaned the truck. There is no damage some paint missing and generally in very good condition.
Has a push wheel action with a very clever mechanical shovel action.
You pull the metal lever on the side and crank up the mechanism . You the press the metal pole on top which drives the shovel up and down with a digging clawing action. Working brilliantly. The shovel rotates 360 degrees and can be unlocked from truck to remove.
Great vintage made in Japan truck.
